SWIMMING and DIVING
You can swim and dive right in front of Villa "Pod borom", so don't forget your diving mask and flippers in order to fully experience the beauty of the crystal clear sea and its azure color.
Diving centers can be found in Hvar and Jagodna. If you are interested, we will be happy to help you with the organization during your vacation.
HIKING, WALKING
- a walk through the pine forest from Villa "Pod borom" to the village Sveta Nedjelja
- a walk from Villa "Pod borom" beside vineyards to a cave beneath the hill. In the cave you will see the remnants of the 16th century monastery, where there is Our Lady of Snow (Gospa od sniga) who protects our sea and the fields and a small church with Sveta Nedijica after which the village was named.
- a walk from Villa "Pod borom" to Dubovice, a cove with a summer residence of former Hvar noblemen
- a walk from Villa "Pod borom" to Lučišće cove, an amazing pebble beach beneath the sheer rocks of Hvar
- hiking through the forest and vineyards from the tunnel Zavala to the peak Saint Ante
- hiking through the pine forest besides vineyards accompanied by the scent of sage, lavender, thyme and rosemary to the highest point of Hvar, St. Nikola's peak
CLIMBING
Šupja stina used to be the only natural port for fishing boats. However, today it is Cliffbase – a sea-shore based center for climbing. Climbing routes are properly marked with difficulty levels from 5a to 8a. The center has over 120 routes, most of which begin just a few meters above the sea, and some directly from the sea.
The most beautiful seasons for climbing are spring (April and May) and fall (October and November).

MOUNTAINBIKE
Hvar is a forest-covered island whose large areas of dense vegetation were burnt in a huge fire a few years ago. After that, the government built many pebble roads to facilitate the access for the firemen and their vehicles.
Those paths are ideal for mountain biking. Bikers can choose between riding across the fields or conquering the hills from which they have a stunning view on the surrounding islands and Dalmatian mainland. On sunny days the view goes as far as the Italian coast.
SAILING
Explore the Adriatic offing, enjoy the shimmering waves and the song of seagulls on a half day or one-day sailing trips.

SAFARI ACROSS THE ISLAND OF HVAR
Explore the mysterious parts of the island, discover the roads of Pharija (Greek for Hvar) built by Roman peasants. Climb to the highest point of the island, St. Nikola's peak, which gives the magnificent view over sheer rocks, olive groves, vineyards and the surrounding islands.
RENT-A-CAR/BOAT
If you wish to discover other places on the island, find hidden coves and lonely beaches, you can rent a car, a boat or a scooter in the car rental agencies, at which we will be glad to help you.
